I have full faith in Trey Gowdey's committee....and it is coming in December.

Don't listen to the rhetoric. Good for Senator Lindsey Graham in this interview!!!

Anger, Arrogance and Deceit

I don’t think there is anything, or anyone that makes me as angry, as our current President of the United States. His antics just don’t stop; but they do keep getting worse and worse.

For me, the most egregious thing this President has done happened at Benghazi, Libya on September 11, 2012. Four Americans were left behind, after early signs they were in danger, after failed protection, and finally after multiple calls for help from the U.S. Ambassador on the night of a violent attack.

These calls were ignored and the men left to die. It changed what our country has always stood for and what we have always done. It changed the inner sense of protection we have always given our nation’s service men: “Leave no man behind.”

What happened in this situation is nothing short of vile and disgusting. And I firmly believe of all the scandals that have taken place during the term of this administration: "Fast and Furious"; “Obamacare”; the IRS fiasco; and the more recent VA disgrace; Benghazi is the one that has the President the most worried. It is my belief that Obama knows full well that if the truth comes out regarding this devastating tragedy and what was really behind it, it is the thing that will finally bring him down.

Along with that however, I believe we are also seeing some arrogance in this President that quite possibly may leave him vulnerable. He has been so protected by the press, and his fellow minions that I believe he is starting to feel invincible. But I believe he messed up big time with the most recent outrage now hitting the air waves - the Bowe Bergdahl fiasco.

There has been much speculation about why the President suddenly took action to have released the Army sergeant that walked away from his post 5 years ago. Obama has said that there were reports of Bergdahl’s health failing and thus the urgency in taking firm and quick action without the required Congressional approval. Yeah, right! Benghazi was about a video, too.

Many believe Bergdahl's release was simply a way to create a distraction from the current VA debacle. Many believe it is only about the end of the war in Afghanistan as the President gets ready to bring troops home. Some believe it was political to coincide with the end of the war, and that he would be seen as heroic. And still, some believe it is only about finally getting the prisoners out of Gitmo that Obama promised he would do during his first campaign run.

Personally, I believe it is none of these. I firmly believe the negotiation with terrorists to bring Bergdahl home is near the top of the list of disastrous things this President has done. But I also believe this traitorous scandal is still really about Benghazi! This was done to distract, that is for sure. But it was to create a distraction from the worst thing this President has ever done, and that is everything that happened at Benghazi. As the truth is sure to come out, due to the recent appointment of a select committee to get to the bottom of what really happened that night, I believe Obama is running scared. Along with that, he is also getting angry. And with his anger, his arrogance builds and I believe he feels it is time to "stick it" to the American people.

Personally, I believe Obama's most recent actions are nothing more than his middle finger forced in the face of Americans who care deeply about the way our military has been treated by this administration. The President now suddenly repeats over and over the words of complaint and concern that he himself has heard over and over for the last year.

"What about 'leave no man behind'?” he and his administration have been repeatedly questioned. Obamba has been accused relentlessly of leaving those vulnerable men behind at Benghazi due to what he did (or rather lack of what he did) on that fateful night. And now that he has negotiated with terrorists to bring Bergdahl back, “Leave no man behind” is his favorite refrain! Now, it is simply his excuse for making the trade that showed blatant disregard for America and that for which we stand.

In my opinion, this is a President that could care less for what is right and what this nation has always done. He has stated numerous times, he wants to "fundamentally transform America". What the Bowe Bergdahl deal is truly about is throwing America’s words back in our face and showing us who is really in control, as he gives us his middle finger. I believe he, in fact, wanted to make us angry and he did a good job of that. Sure, he wants to be able to say "See I care about leaving no man behind", for an excuse when he gets in a political bind. But in reality, he has taken this action as factitiously as anyone who holds the office of President of the United States would dare and shoved it in our collective faces.

And I believe it is all once again the result of Obama's rage and disdain for America.

A Call for a Select Committee!

An important message from Secure America Now:

For many months, Secure America Now has advocated for a Select Committee to investigate Benghazi.
To date, no one has been brought to justice, some witnesses have yet to testify, and most important, the American people have never been told the truth about the events that lead to the death of four American citizens serving our country abroad.

Congressman Wolf once again makes an extremely compelling case for why this committee needs to be created.

Please read this letter and contact Speaker Boehner demanding that he side with the 180 members of the House or Representatives who are calling for this committee.

The current process is not working. Contact Speaker Boehner today.

Not Giving Up!

If your Congressman is on the list below, please call.

From Secure America Now:

Tell Congress: It's Time We Learn What Really Happened in Benghazi

On Sept 11, 2012, four Americans, including our U.S. ambassador to Libya were murdered in a vicious terrorist attack. Yet over one year since that terrible attack, the American people still don't know what happened that night.

Virginia Congressman Frank Wolf has introduced legislation in the House calling for the establishment of a "Select Committee". A Select Committee would be a bi-partisan committee with special, extra authority to more comprehensively investigate the events that took place in Benghazi. Tell Congress to Support It!

A Select Committee would remove politics from the process and provide for a comprehensive, exhaustive and complete investigation. Unlike the five current committees conducting investigations, it would have full, cross-jurisdictional subpoena authority and ability to call any witness to testify.

Most importantly, it would focus the nation's attention on the security failures of that fateful night, with the hope of making sure such mistakes are never repeated.

Many of the survivors of the attack have yet to come forward to present their testimony. Some have been threatened or pressured not to do so.

Only a Select Committee can compel them to testify and protect them from retribution.
While many Republicans have signed on to congressman Wolf's bill, there are 59 members who have yet to support a Select Committee.

Please contact these members directly or call Speaker Boehner at (202) 224-3121 and demand that Congress appoint a select committee. The American people deserve to be told the truth and Congress must use every opportunity it has to uncover the truth. It is time we got answers and get beyond the lies of the Obama Administration.

Here is the list of Congress people who have NOT yet expressed their support. Please call them today or call (202) 224-3121:
  • Alabama: Mike Rogers, Spencer Bachus
  • California: Jeff Denham, David Valadao, Devin Nunes, Kevin McCarthy, Buck McKeon, Gary Miller, Ed Royce, Darrell Issa

And Again..

From Secure America Now:

Where Is The Outrage?

Why are the leaders of the House of Representatives continuing to stonewall the creation of a Select Committee to delve into the Benghazi Cover Up?

America wants to know why its sons were killed in Benghazi. Instead of answers, we are getting piecemeal crumbs of information about what went on that night. The latest revelation, reported by CNN almost one week ago, is that there were CIA operatives on the ground in the compound.
Why are we reduced to depending on the news media for this information when Congress has the constitutional duty to get to the bottom of this tragedy?

We need a Congressional committee that demands access to the Americans who witnessed the attack in Benghazi and survived. The American people demand answers to all questions about this tragedy!

We should hear why one of the attackers is giving interviews, when he should be sitting in jail or executed for his crimes.

It is time for a Select Committee now -- before the First Anniversary of the execution of Ambassador Stevens and his colleagues.

On another front: Why has it taken years to start the trial of Nidal Hasan who murdered innocent Americans at Fort Hood? Why is he still receiving his salary? Again where is the outrage of our elected officials?

Contact your elected officials and start demanding answers!
