I don’t know who is behind these fraudulent and frightening narratives. I suspect it is someone who wants to destroy both America and Christianity. The left is the obvious culprit. They are certainly targeting conservative Christians and actually they have done this for decades. It has just never gotten quite this deceptive before. And too many are buying in. People are easily deceived when they let go of their Anchor.
Now I can list a bunch of names in hopes people will watch and be alert when they see something from one of these people. And if we are aware of who they are, hopefully we will actually dig deeper than simply believing what is being presented; really without any proof.
If someone has a history of problems with what they present, then we should expose that. We should at the very least question them. Now I do not know anyone’s motives. Maybe they are simply people who have been deceived themselves and they have no ill intent. Maybe they are the ones deliberately deceiving. I don’t know. I am simply saying these are people that I have found linked together with questionable messages that we had better research just a bit deeper.
I will list a few names that are mentioned in the most recent video that brought me to bring this to the attention of others with this post. The video is called "The Water" and the narrator is Stew Peters. Peters has a questionable reputation himself. Peters doesn't say much throughout the video, but asks the scripted questions at just the right time, as if he is hearing the message for the first time. He is interviewing a Dr. Ardis.
Many of these videos that have made the rounds are in regard to vaccines, or "Big Pharma" or both. In this particular video, they want us to believe the government is out to get us and our government is the ones behind "the China Virus" via our water. Yes, I said "China Virus". I think we need that reminder.
As a side note in conjunction with the video in question, please remember, President Trump, in fact, took the drug they are so concerned with in the video (Remdesivir). Further they haven’t completely stopped monoclonal antibodies, as stated in the video. The CDC and NIH have only stated they may not work against the Omicron variant. All of which is mute, because basically Covid is on its way out.
Anyway, below is a list of those with whom we should have concern.
Alex Jones and Info-Wars – A well-known conspiracy theorist. One of the first to spread the conspiracy that United States was behind 9/11. It grew from leftists believing this narrative and eventually spread to the far right. Jones also fostered a conspiracy about Sandy Hook - that it never really happened. He ended up being sued for his lies about this tragedy, being required to settle with the parents who lost children in that mass killing. Christian, do you really want to believe someone like this?
Stew Peters – talk show host. He has been hosted on Nick Fuentes show. That’s bad enough. Fuentes has a reputation of being an anti-Semite, and white supremacist. Charlie Kirk of Turning Point USA, CPAC and Mike Pompeo have all given warnings about him. But Peters went so far in his attacks of people, even Fuentes had to rebuke him. This occurred at Fuentes's America First Political Action Committee, (AFPAC). And by the way, the "America first" agenda these people talk about, is not the same as Presidents Trump's "America First", or our long held belief in America First. AFPAC is not the nationalism of old. It was created because Fuentes got kicked out of CPAC for his rhetoric.
Dr. Bryan Ardis and his page, ardisandidote.com, which I even hate to link or promote here. He is selling a product. These people are ALWAYS selling a product and they are deceiving Christians to promote their product. I have found this to be true, every. single. time. when I start researching a wild conspiracy.
Lauren Witzke – A follower/promoter of QAnon, now working with Stew Peters.
And a few others who have been involved with questionable videos or narratives that have been making the rounds in recent years. And/or who have radical, conspiratorial platforms.
Mikki Willis – who I have written about before.
Leigh Dundas – who I have written about before.
Scot McKay – who I have written about before.
Wendy Rogers – Arizona Senator
We absolutely cannot let this continue. Good people are being deceived, if they are not deceived by these things, and aware enough to see through the lies, then still, their time has been stolen from them simply by watching. If they do not believe what is in the video, after they have watched, their psyche is still targeted and affected. It is just the way of things and someone knows this. Ideas linger.
Things that are warning signals:
The videos/misinformation always contain an element of truth.
They always share an unbelievable situation, but cloaked in truth so it makes it seem true.
They always use fear.
They always use a little “Christianeze” to make them appear as Christians. The attempt to target Christians is obvious, while they seemingly pretend to be one.
They seek out those that already have an opinion, a bias, or a fear of the subject they are discussing.
They target those who already believe our government is evil; they are going to make sure we “know" that it is.
Vaccines, Big Pharma, and medical issues are often the theme.
How to avoid the trap:
Pray and ask for wisdom and discernment before we ever even begin to watch a video, or read an article.
Familiarize ourselves with known deceivers.
Look for key words; a distrust of government; supposed experts are used. This is 2022; one can get anyone to say anything these days.
Look for an element of truth, but wait and pay attention to the warning buzzer that is going to go off in your head, when they move to the next point from that seed of truth. The next point will be the deception. That Buzzer is the Holy Spirit. Listen to Him! And then research what you are being led to believe.
Watch as you read for a wording that appears to make the narrative seem factual, but in reality is a safety net to keep from stating anything as absolute. Absolutes could bring lawsuits. They know this. They will use words like: "It has been stated"; "Seems to be"; "Known to be"; "possible"...etc. People get caught up in the narrative and ignore that nothing stated is definitive. They simply read it as fact.
Pay attention and don’t excuse something contrary to Scripture.
Don’t let them distract from the real enemy by offering a scapegoat or another guilty party.
If you think it is too wild to believe, then it probably is.
Let me give you some examples. If they are trying to make the United States a bigger enemy than Russia or China, we had better think about that. CDC, FDA and NIH are far from perfect, but if we are blaming them, all attention and accountability is taken off whomever the real culprit might be; in this case China. We are basically giving China a pass, by buying into this. There is no need for repercussions against China, because everyone is sidetracked by an “enemy” that is far from as dangerous as China. Suddenly it's the CDC that gave us Covid-19 by poisoning our water, instead of the carelessness or an intentional bio-weapon from China
If someone in a video is one minute claiming how they listen to the Holy Spirit, but before it’s all over they are talking and placing importance on fortune cookies, we had better think twice. If they claim they are Christians, but something just doesn’t seem right, - like using the F-bomb, or joking about the wrong thing, or acting in a way that is contrary to the Word of God, - we had better distrust them right then and there. Those are all things that are happening in all of these videos making the rounds.
In truth, I think they are mocking Christians….trying to see how far they can go with our gullibility. And trying just to see how far they can lead us astray. And then laughing about it all behind our backs.
It is intentional. They are “stirring the masses”. They obviously believe the only thing they need to do is mention God, or the Holy Spirit and the Christian will bite whatever they say, hook, line and sinker. They are trying to ruin our reputation as Christ followers. They are trying to make us look like fools. Otherwise, why? Why are there so many things within these videos, that are contrary to our faith, yet continually claiming our faith? They are playing us. We had better be willing to consider that fact. They always talk about evil, maybe it is they who are evil.
One more problem that I want to address is that many of these videos are being banned by social media and then anyone who shares them gets banned, or put in "Facebook jail". This doesn't demonstrate the video must be true! This is only aiding in the spread. Yes. We absolutely should be leery of Twitter and Facebook. They are liberal, or far left platforms. But when something is banned by these entities it simply convinces those already susceptible to believing the fraud, that it must be true. The banning of the videos is actually lending credence to the narrative and helping spread the phony narrative, because we already know Facebook cannot be trusted!
Good people are being deceived, drawn in and then going off the rails joining in, with little to no common sense. Nor are we trusting and allowing our own knowledge to rein ourselves in from being deceived. We must make a plan of what we are going to believe and stand by it. We must give ourselves boundaries. We must rely on what we have been taught from Scripture. We simply cannot continue to fall for "every wind of doctrine". And yes, that is what is happening.
In truth, these videos are distracting us from the Word of God, and instead leading us into anger and fear. When we make a habit of watching things without really even having any idea from where they originate, we are allowing deception to enter our minds. Why do we believe something from someone simply because they create a scenario and pretend they are experts? Why wouldn't we check out who they are, their sources and their connections?
I am not going to link the video as I have in the past and risk promoting it. It gets removed anyway. People aren’t going to believe me. They are more likely to believe the video. Honestly, in some cases it has gotten so bad, that when presented with the truth, some people still choose to believe the false conspiracy. Many want to believe these things. And I think when one aligns themselves so strongly to a worldly idea, they want to believe they are right. They want to be validated. And sometimes these videos do that. Someone knows about our need to be validated and they are using that need to attack us through lies and deception.
So if you watch this video, or come across it on social media, or even one like it, please do the things I mention in this article. We all need to think for ourselves and think critically.
I am not saying we should implicitly trust our government, its programs and its agencies. Of course not. But neither should we sit back and believe they are evil and out to get us. WE the PEOPLE are the government in America. And we have means to be effective and control policy. We need to pay attention, not hide in fear. We need to put on the full armor of God and live our lives. We need to be active and then having done all, we need to stand. We need to apply the Word of God. That alone, will show us the destructiveness of these videos.
Yes, I expect something worse to happen in our nation. Yes, there has been a string of events that are dragging us down. Yes, there will be more. I am not saying there aren't forces at work against us. I am not saying we shouldn't pay attention or ignore evil. I am saying we need to be cautious about what we choose to believe. I am simply pointing out we should not get caught up in concern with the wrong enemy. Because it is ever apparent, someone seeks to distract us, to rile us, and to cause us to be afraid.
When we believe lies, when we are so easily deceived without demanding fuller evidence of truth, we are allowing the enemy to win. We are in effect joining the wrong side.
